On Windows, pressing “Enter” on the deletion confirmation dialog cancels the deletion, which is different from the behavior of the Windows Shell. This would be useful because it’s much faster to be able to delete items purely from the keyboard.
I’d like this on Macs too, though I do understand that being click-only serves to avoid accidental deletion. Perhaps it should need Ctrl/Cmd and Delete.
Add my vote to this as well. I want the enter key to confirm the delete and the escape key to cancel it. Anything other than this is poor UX as this is how every other software works.
Alternatively, provide a setting to avoid seeing the delete confirmation entirely, at least on a drive where the deleted file goes to the recycle bin.
Perhaps this is a new feature in 3.14, but Ctrl-Enter on Windows does a confirm-delete, even if I forget to tick off the check mark when it warns me about large deletions.
I can confirm that CTRL + Enter works to confirm deletions on the Mac as well, but it it’s a little awkward.
For example on PC’s to Copy and Paste you use CTRL + C and CTRL + V. On Mac’s, you use CMD + C and CMD + V. Generally keyboard shortcuts on PC’s use the Control key and Mac’s use the Command key.
To be consistent, Mylio should change this shortcut to CMD + Enter for Mac’s.
